How tuition works
Our figures are on the enrollment page, and we go over them with you at the first class. Here is how each part works.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on your child's age group and how many classes a week they come to. The figures are on the enrollment page.
Age group
Classes a week
Registration
A one-time registration comes with joining. It opens your child's file, and the front desk explains it at the first class.
Holding a place
A place is held once you finish registering. When a class is full we keep a waiting list and call families in order.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly by autopay. The next billing date shows on the enrollment page, and we send a reminder before it changes.
Siblings
Brothers and sisters can train in the same class or in different ones. The front desk explains how billing works for a second child at the first class, because it depends on who trains and when.
Withdrawing
Enrollment runs month to month. To stop, tell us in writing at least 30 days ahead; the month in progress is billed as usual. You can pause for travel or a busy season: ask us how.
Month to month
Written notice, 30 days ahead
Pauses by arrangement
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class for the same age group in the same session. Tell the front desk ahead and we will find one that fits. Make-ups do not carry into the next session.
Uniforms and other costs
Beyond tuition, a few costs exist, and each is for something specific. The amounts are on the enrollment page.
A uniform and first belt, when you join
Each belt day
A dojo t-shirt, if you want one
